Valley Transportation Group Provides Shipping Services To Transport Teddy Bears To Children In New York
(Phoenix, AZ) December 3, 2001 – Valley Transportation Group, a local
North American Van Lines agent providing relocation and transportation services
to the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, recently donated its shipping services
in a local campaign to transport twelve pallets of teddy bears to children in
New York City.
Established “for the purpose of bringing comfort to the students in New
York,” students from local Sonoma Ranch Elementary School in Gilbert, started
a volunteer Teddy Bear collection to send to those children who’s lives have
been forever changed by the horrible recent events in New York City.
“We know it has been several weeks since the tragic events there, but we’re sure the children in New York will appreciate the fact that children across the country are still thinking about them, and that [companies], like Valley Transportation Group, care enough to make this special act of giving happen,” said Rhonda Gatenby of Sonoma Ranch Elementary School.
In a similar act of charity, Valley Transportation
Group also donated local transportation services to non-profit,
non-denominational, international health organization Esperança (www.esperanca.org).
